Dreamday Destinations allows your vacation to begin before you’ve even packed your bags (which, if you’re anything like me, can actually be a fun part of the travel experience). By nature, I have always been passionate about planning, organizing, and creating. These innate talents fused with my love for travel, for people, and for creating magical moments for them, have led me to my calling: creating these moments for you.

Being a Travel Consultant and Destination Wedding Planner encapsulates so many of the aspects that I appreciate about travel, from choosing a destination, to planning excursions and dining experiences, to creating memorable weddings and celebrations, to selecting the perfect suite with a view. Knowing the adventures that await excites me, and planning trips for you, imagining your experience of these places that I love so much, gives me the same thrill.

While we may not share the same love for packing, planning, and organizing, we can agree that there are few things as enticing as a Caribbean vacation, especially without the complexities that can come with planning. About Christine Terezakis

After working so closely with couples in their wedding planning journey as their planner, when it came time for them to plan their honeymoons, I found my couples looking to me as a trusted resource for guidance on where to go, what to do, and how to make their honeymoon trip special. I realized how helpful it could be to my couples if I could share not only my personal travel knowledge, but also my unique perspective as a seasoned Wedding Planner considering the many parallels between wedding and honeymoon planning.

With this discovery, I decided to become a Certified Specialist with the Caribbean’s most notable romance resort brand: Sandals. I have traveled to the resort locations, tasted the cuisines of each restaurant, walked every beach, experienced each room category tier and familiarized with the nuances of each property so I could become the best possible resource that I can for my clients. Each year, I complete a recertification as a Certified Sandals Specialist. Over time, I’ve expanded our roster of destinations by adding a curated selection of additional luxury resort brands to offer in the Caribbean and Mexico. And to keep my resourcefulness fresh, I constantly research the latest travel trends and resort offerings, and participate in familiarization trips to learn about each resort brand and location firsthand.

It is my belief that life’s happy moments should be celebrated, no matter how big or small, and I am committed to ensuring that you feel celebrated each step of the way. I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients from around the U.S., planning and designing their luxurious vacations, weddings, events, romantic getaways, and leisure travel, and each has left me with a new piece of invaluable knowledge.

Christine combines her wealth of experience, passion for travel, and love of wedding planning to inspire, guide, and serve travel-lovers. Her specialties are destination weddings and Caribbean romance travel. How do you know which Sandals/Beaches Resort to recommend to your clients?

In addition to my annual Certified Sandals Specialist certification training, I travel to the resorts on a regular basis. I participate in FAM (familiarization) trips for travel partners, and I personally vacation at the resorts. This allows me to experience their service, tour the properties and accommodations, see their new and exciting additions and enhancements, check out their wedding package and décor updates, and to get to know their management and staff. Having a personal experience and connection with the properties enables me to match my clients with the location that is the best fit for what they want their vacation or destination wedding experience to be.

What makes YOU unique as a Sandals and Beaches Specialist?

I started my wedding planning business in 2004, so, I’ve been a Wedding Planner for many years. My background in everything wedding gives me a unique perspective and approach when helping couples plan their Sandals/Beaches destination weddings and honeymoons. Romance and luxury are things I cater to every day in my wedding planning business, so, helping people plan their honeymoons and destination weddings has simply become a natural extension of what I do. My goal and passion is to help my clients have their DREAM day, whether it’s a wedding, a vacation, or any kind of celebration. That’s how the name of my company was born—Dreamday Celebrations, which grew to Dreamday Weddings, and which now extends to Dreamday Destinations.

Does it cost more or does it cost less to book our Sandals or Beaches vacation through you as our Travel Agent?

Neither…but you get added benefits when you book through me.

The cost for your travel, accommodations, and extras such as spa services and excursions is the same regardless of whether you book through me or by yourself online. HOWEVER, when you book through me, you get very personal and readily available attention, and the benefits of my firsthand in-the-know experience to match you to the resort and the accommodation level that’s the right fit for you and your budget. I always make sure my clients get the BEST DEAL that Sandals/Beaches is offering when I’m making your vacation arrangements. PLUS, I add some nice extra surprises for my travel clients (but you’ll have to find out what those are when you book your trip through me).

You should know that travel partners are not allowed to offer their own discounts on Sandals or Beaches bookings. And some travel agencies and specialists charge an additional fee for their booking services, but I do not. My booking services are COMPLETELY COMPLIMENTARY for you, and are not added to the price of your booking in any way.

Why Sandals/Beaches as compared to other all-inclusive resorts or cruises?

I’ve been on cruises and I’ve been to other inclusive resorts. In comparison, I’ve found that you get a lot of VALUE when you stay at Sandals/Beaches Resort because so much there is included that is not included in other all-inclusive resorts or cruises. You might get into those starting at a low price, but when you incur extra costs such as bar tabs, upgraded dining, excursions, fees for extra amenities, taxes, tips/gratuities…it really adds up, and you wind up paying more than you thought you would.

To compare, here’s what’s INCLUDED with a Sandals Resort stay: multiple restaurants of your choice for dining and snacks any time, unlimited premium spirits and beverages, swim up bars, water sports, scuba and snorkel excursions including equipment, daily entertainment, greens fees for golfing offered at select resorts, free Wi-Fi, fitness centers, free all-inclusive wedding packages (for stay 3 nights+), roundtrip airport transfers, AND ALL TAXES AND TIPS/GRATUITIES.

What is your travel personality?

I’d say I’m a frequent and upscale traveler. I love the beautiful surroundings of nature and of old cities. I appreciate luxurious accommodations, and I’m all about the view from my room. I love touring. I enjoy fine wine and dining…and shopping the local shops for treasures made by its local residents. I love new experiences mixed in with a little adventure. Places I’ve traveled include: Austria, France, Greece, Spain, Mexico, Canada, states throughout the USA with the furthest being Alaska, and many islands in the Caribbean including Saint John, Saint Thomas, Saint Martin, Saint Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, and the Bahamas.

What is your favorite thing to do at Sandals?

Wow, there are so many things I love to do there. But, one thing I always do is walk on the beach at sunset, sipping a glass of champagne with my husband. It’s a moment we treasure every time.
